These skills ensure products meet customer requirements, reduce defects, and support successful project launches in competitive manufacturing environments.

What is an APQP Quality Engineer?

APQP Quality Engineers are professionals who specialize in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), a framework used primarily in the automotive industry to ensure product quality and process control during the development of new products or processes. They coordinate cross-functional teams to identify potential issues, implement quality standards, and oversee risk management throughout the product lifecycle. Their main goal is to ensure that the final product meets customer requirements and industry regulations by applying APQP tools such as FMEA, control plans, and process flow diagrams.
