Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's 3pm to 11pm and Friday's 7am to 3pm
Our company is seeking experienced Caregivers and C.N.A.s to provide care to the residents of Concord Place Retirement Community in Northlake.
CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Observation of client functioning and reporting changes to his/her supervisor or employer.
  • Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
  • Attend to the client's requests promptly.
  • Provide companionship and socialization.
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Change bed linens and do laundry.
  • Personal errands, per client and agency request
  • Medication assistance and reminders
  • Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing
  • Transferring assistance
  • Socialization and companionship
  • Functions within the limitations of the individual assignment.
  • Knows and follows infection control policies including proper hand washing techniques.
  • Maintains appropriate communication with supervisory staff and with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Documents care provided and pertinent observations accurately as directed by the wellness coordinator.
  • Treats clients and families with respect.
  • Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA and ALC policies.
  • Accepts and fulfills assignments with the agency and exercises judgment in accepting assignments.
  • Attends required in-service programs per agency policy.

CAREGIVER REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have a reliable vehicle, driver's license, and valid auto insurance.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Previous caregiving experience is required.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Professional demeanor, self-motivated, reliable, and compassionate.
  • Must demonstrate dependability, tact, patience, and the ability to follow instructions.
