Join Penskeโ€™s Elite Driver team and take on a high-impact, flexible CDL-A role designed for experienced drivers who thrive in dynamic environments. This position goes beyond a traditional routeโ€”drivers travel across the country to support critical operations, assist with new business launches, and strengthen performance where itโ€™s needed most.

Valid Class A CDL Required

1 year of tractor-trailer experience

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Travel regionally and nationally to support Penske operations

  • Represent Penske as a professional, high-performing driver

  • Assist with new account startups and key customer operations

  • Perform multi-stop deliveries across various route types

  • Handle freight ranging from no-touch to high-touch deliveries

  • Operate modern, well-maintained equipment with safety technology

  • Use scanners and onboard systems for accurate delivery tracking


Equipment
  • Late-model trucks with best-in-class comfort and safety features

  • Inward- and outward-facing in-cab cameras

  • Access to specialized equipment with training provided


Assignment Structure
  • Minimum 3-week travel assignments

  • Option to extend assignments or rotate into home time

  • For every 3 travel weeks, option for 1 home week or continued travel

  • Routes and dispatch times vary by assignment

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driverโ€™s License (CDL)

  • Must be domiciled and licensed in the United States

  • Minimum experience:

    • 1 year of tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years

  • Clean driving record:

    • No more than 2 moving violations or accidents within the past 3 years

  • DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)

  • Ability to comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations

  • English language proficiency (required under 49 C.F.R. 391.11)

  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
