Our business is growing and we are looking for a Master Technician.
Responsibilities:
  • Job Responsibilities

    • Perform removal and replacement of transmissions (automatic & manual) on domestic and import vehicles
    • Diagnose transmission issues and determine proper repair or replacement solutions
    • Disassemble, inspect, and reinstall transmission components as needed
    • Perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with shop and manufacturer standards
    • Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to verify repairs and ensure proper operation
    • Perform quality control inspections before returning vehicles to customers
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, shop, and equipment
    • Assist in maintaining proper shop workflow and efficiency
    • Report parts shortages or inventory issues to the Center Manager
    • Follow all safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment
    • Keep customer vehicles clean and protected during service
    • Assist in training and guiding junior technicians when needed
  • Skills & Requirements

    • Strong experience in transmission removal & installation (R&R)
    • Knowledge of electrical diagnostics, sensors, and scan tools
    • Ability to diagnose drivability and transmission-related issues accurately
    • Must have a complete set of professional-grade tools
    • Experience with domestic and import vehicles (early & late models)
    • Minimum 5 years of experience (Master Technician level preferred)
    • Valid Drivers License
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Maintain a clean and professional work area at all times
