The Admissions and Referral Supervisor, works under the supervision of the A&R Director. In this position, the individual will provide direct administrative oversight to A&R staff in the provision services in the admissions department to include: clinical evaluations, crisis intervention, coordination of referrals, verification of benefits, and the overall operations of the admissions department.

Qualifications
Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience:
  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility or ER preferred.
Licensure:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, BLS.
Additional Requirements:
  • CPR certification and successful completion of restraining procedures training
  • CPI within 30 days of employment.
  • Understanding of The Joint Commission (TJC), OSHA and state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to prioritize workload and effectively multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Focus on providing high quality patient care.
