Job Title:         Associate Graphic Designer

Client:              Medical Device Manufacturing Company

Location:         Lafayette, CO 80026


Duration:         12 Months (Possible Extension)
Shift:                1st Shift | 4 Days/Week In Office

Description:

Job Summary

Support the design and production of packaging and product labeling artwork for medical devices. The role requires strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience preparing artwork for print production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and update packaging and product labeling artwork.
  • Design labels, lidstock, display boxes, and other packaging materials.
  • Ensure artwork follows brand guidelines, design standards, and established processes.
  • Proof artwork and verify vendor proofs against approved files.
  • Make corrections and communicate changes to vendors as needed.
  • Support formal artwork approval processes.
  • Maintain packaging and labeling development procedures.
  • Manage multiple projects, changing priorities, and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Incorporate customer requirements into artwork while maintaining standardization.
  • Write and execute software validation protocols.
  • Prepare test reports documenting validation activities.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
  • Package/product labeling design experience.
  • Experience preparing artwork for print production and proofing.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency with Mac and PC operating systems.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Loftware Spectrum labeling systems.
  • Experience with Priysm or other labeling systems.
  • Medical device labeling experience.

Education & Experience

  • Four-year college degree preferred, or equivalent related experience.
  • Significant experience in graphic design production.
  • Experience developing labeling for the medical device industry preferred.
  • Experience working with packaging/labeling systems is a plus.
