Line Cook


Reports To: General Manager - South Lake Union

Compensation: $21.30/hour plus tips ($32-$35/hour total on average)


Benefits: 

  • Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance (Once eligible - Average 25 hours/week after 6+ months worked)

Flatstick Pub - South Lake Union is looking to hire a Line Cook to help with its day-to-day operations and perform the duties listed below:

Specific Duties & Responsibilities as Line Cook:

  • Be motivated and driven to create great food and make people happy 
  • Communicate with guests and coworkers in a warm and welcoming manner 
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of basic cooking methods 
  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Be able to work efficiently and effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Possess a valid Food Handlers Card 
  • Operate food machinery
  • Responsible for daily tasks and side work
  • Employees are occasionally asked to climb, balance, kneel, or crouch
  • Employees are occasionally asked to help lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds
  • Other duties as assigned.

About Flatstick:


There are only two rules at Flatstick Pub: drink local and have fun. We’re mixing up the scene by combining local beers with an indoor 9-hole mini golf course and other fun games. Our 30+ rotating taps feature local beers, ciders, and wines.

This in-person position is located at the South Lake Union location (609 Westlake Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109). Hours per week vary based upon the following: tenure, events, time of year, manager discretion.
