Summary
The IT Administrator, Infrastructure Support is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of network, server, cloud-connected, endpoint, and security infrastructure at the Montgomery, Alabama Vehicle Processing Center. This role serves as the primary IT support resource for all infrastructure, operational technology, mobile computing, printing, security, and business systems supporting vehicle processing operations at the Montgomery Vehicle Processing Center.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions
Manage and administer LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, network security and server infrastructure.
• Monitor and resolve network, server, and security incidents.
• Provide support for business-critical operational systems utilized in vehicle receiving, processing, quality inspection, inventory management, lot tracking, and outbound logistics activities.
• Provide after-hours and on-call support for critical production incidents, infrastructure outages, and business-impacting technology events as required.
• Serve as liaison between Glovis America, HAEA, and technology vendors.
• Support operational technology, vehicle processing systems, handheld scanners, and logistics applications.
• Troubleshoot and support barcode scanners, RFID systems, mobile computing devices, vehicle processing workstations, kiosks, and peripheral devices used within operational areas.
• Administer VMware ESXi, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and endpoint management solutions.
• Administer and support enterprise printing infrastructure, including network printers, industrial label printers, multifunction copiers, print servers, and associated print management systems used throughout the facility.
• Perform IT asset lifecycle management and inventory control.
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and incident response procedures.
• Support cybersecurity compliance, vulnerability remediation, and audits.
• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, hardware refreshes, and site technology projects.
• Manage Zebra and other Android-based mobile devices and tablets.
