As a remote member of our team, you will work from the comfort of your home, connecting with clients through virtual platforms that ensure confidentiality and accessibility. Our outpatient office in Peachtree City, Georgia acts as a hub for resources and team collaboration, while innovative telehealth technology enables you to maintain meaningful interactions with clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and personalized interviewing techniques to gather relevant information.
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans that reflect the specific needs and goals of each client, adapting approaches as required as progress is monitored.
  • Conduct therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring that methods are culturally sensitive and inclusive.
  • Utilize behavioral strategies to facilitate client engagement and promote successful outcomes, enhancing clients' coping mechanisms and life skills.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records, adhering to confidentiality regulations while utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for streamlined documentation.
  • Engage in ongoing professional education opportunities and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to share knowledge and enhance client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with adults and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health conditions. You will be instrumental in creating a safe and supportive atmosphere where clients feel understood and valued, enabling them to explore their challenges and develop coping strategies effectively.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • At least two years of hands-on clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of therapy techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, enhancing efficiency in client management and documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in telehealth or remote therapy settings is highly advantageous.
  • Strong clinical background in using trauma-informed approaches or crisis intervention strategies.
  • Membership in professional organizations related to mental health counseling is a plus.
