POSITION: 8th Grade Language Arts Teacher
LOCATION: Rice Lake Middle School
DATE OF POSTING: March 23, 2026
START DATE: August 10, 2026
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should hold a current Wisconsin teaching license. Applicants must demonstrate successful experience teaching middle school students and the ability to form strong relationships with students and colleagues. Experience working within a Professional Learning Community and a desire to be collaborative are required. Applicants with either a K-8 teaching license or a 6-12 English/Language Arts license would be qualified for this position.
DESCRIPTION: The Rice Lake Middle School has embraced a balanced literacy approach to teaching reading and writing. Applicants must be willing to be collaborative and actively participate in instructional coaching. Professional development in balanced literacy will be offered to the successful applicant. Applicants will be responsible for three seventy-minute literacy blocks daily. The middle school position offers a team/collaboration period daily.
