Outside Sales Representative - Commercial Construction and Renovation - Base Salary to 70k/year - Jacksonville, FL

  • Our client, a growing commercial and residential renovation company, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth across North Florida. This role focuses primarily on commercial renovation sales, with a secondary responsibility supporting residential projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, develop, and close commercial renovation projects including office spaces, multi-unit properties, healthcare facilities, and similar environments
  • Build relationships with property managers, facility directors, commercial real estate stakeholders, and business owners
  • Conduct site visits, client presentations, and project walkthroughs
  • Develop a self-generated pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
  • Manage long sales cycles and maintain consistent follow-up with commercial clients
  • Collaborate with estimating teams to develop project proposals
  • Manage inbound and self-generated leads for residential renovation projects (kitchens, bathrooms, full-home renovations, etc.)
  • Conduct in-home consultations and present renovation solutions
  • Maintain pipeline activity and support project handoff to operations
  • Track all activity in CRM, including leads, follow-ups, and deal stages
  • Manage pipeline forecasting and reporting
  • Maintain consistent follow-up cadence across all opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of B2B or commercial sales experience required, specifically selling commercial construction, renovation, facilities services, or related project-based solutions
  • Demonstrated experience selling commercial construction or renovation projects required
  • Experience selling to property managers, facility managers, commercial real estate stakeholders, or healthcare facilities
  • Proven ability to self-generate leads and build a pipeline through outbound sales activity
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and consultative sales processes
  • Ability to conduct site visits and present project proposals to decision-makers
  • Working knowledge of construction or renovation scopes (materials, timelines, project flow)
  • Experience using a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 50k - 70k/year range
