Job Title: Medicare AR Specialist (Hospital Billing & Collections – Remote, TX Only)

Location: 100% Remote (Texas Residents Only)
Job Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Pay: ~$45/hour or ~$65K salary
Schedule: Flexible start (6:00 AM – 9:00 AM), consistent daily

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Medicare AR Specialist with a strong background in hospital billing and collections. This role focuses on Traditional Medicare accounts, driving resolution of outstanding balances and ensuring timely reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Medicare Accounts Receivable (AR) and collections
  • Work claims from billing through resolution
  • Handle denials, appeals, and follow-ups
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines
  • Use billing systems (Epic preferred) to track and update accounts
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Traditional Medicare billing & collections
  • Hospital/acute care revenue cycle experience required
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare rules and reimbursement
