| Aspect | 6 Month | Medical Assistant |
|---|---|---|
| Training Duration | Approximately 6 months of coursework or training | Typically 1-2 years of education, including certification programs |

OR A. Basic Education Requirement:1. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Professional Engineering. To be acceptable, the curriculum must: (a) be in a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum or (b) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (1)statics, dynamics; (2)strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (3)fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (4)thermodynamics; (5)electrical fields and circuits; (6)nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (7)any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics.
