• Deliver comprehensive counseling services to clients, employing evidence-based practices for mental health treatment.
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and execute therapeutic interventions in individual, family, and group settings.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans using our cloud-based EHR system.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need, ensuring confidentiality and safety are always prioritized.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge within the field.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Pyramid Care Consultants, you will serve a diverse range of clients who may be facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and dual-diagnosis conditions. You will work closely with individuals, families, and groups to identify their needs and develop appropriate action plans. Your role is critical in providing support, encouragement, and effective strategies to empower clients on their path to recovery.

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas.
• Minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in mental health counseling with a solid understanding of therapeutic interventions.
• Proficient in using technology for remote counseling, including a reliable laptop or desktop, a stable internet connection, and a working webcam.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently while managing a flexible schedule.
• Must pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
• Willingness to occasionally work weekends or evenings as needed based on client's schedules.

• Experience with cloud-based EHR systems is a plus.
• Previous work in community health settings or telehealth environments is highly desirable.
• Specializations in trauma-informed care or dual diagnosis treatment are advantageous.
