How you'll make an impact
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering design activities.
  • Create and modify drawings, Bills of Materials, and technical documentation.
  • Lead and participate in design and customer specification reviews.
  • Provide timely mechanical engineering support across teams.
  • Support customer inquiries with clear, technically sound responses.
  • Contribute to vendor qualification, new component development, and testing.
  • Conduct analysis, design, and development work using 2D/3D tools for transformer products.
  • Mentor and guide early-career engineering colleagues.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Creo, or similar 2D/3D modeling tools.
  • Experience working with industrial or engineering standards.
  • Knowledge of pad-mounted transformer design (preferred).
  • Familiarity with IEEE and CSA standards for distribution transformers (preferred).
