Job Summary:

The third shift supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the third shift shipping activities of the warehouse personnel ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and in compliance with safety regulations. This is a 3rd Shift position and the days are Sunday through Thursday. Hours may flex.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise and lead team of warehouse employees, including material handlers, pickers, packers and forklift operators
  • Assign tasks, set work priorities and ensure team members meet productivity and quality standards
  • Provide guidance, coaching and training to warehouse staff
  • Plan and organize shift schedules to optimize productivity while maintaining staff levels
  • Monitor and control all aspects of the shift’s operation, including outbound shipments, order picking and packing
  • Coordinate with other departments to address inventory discrepancies and replenishment needs
  • Collaborate with other supervisors/managers to optimize overall warehouse operations
  • Enforce safety protocols and compliance with warehouse safety regulations
  • Monitor health and safety policies/regulations in the warehouse environment
  • Assess warehouse processes/procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce organizational costs
  • Identify areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance overall warehouse efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained and any malfunctions or safety hazards are repaired
  • Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently
  • Other duties as assigned

Required for Success:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory or lead role experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of company and department/section policies and procedures
  • Knowledge/experience with WMS and proficient in RF technology
  • Proficient written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to lead and train 10-20 employees
  • Problem-solving abilities and strong organizational skills
  • Physically able to lift, carry, move etc. products up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various departments, suppliers, and customers
  • Self-motivated and willing to work with others
  • Detail-oriented
