3rd Shift RN Transfer Center nurses are registered nurses who work overnight hours in a centralized transfer center, coordinating patient transfers between hospitals or healthcare facilities. Their main responsibilities include assessing patient needs, ensuring appropriate placement, facilitating communication among medical teams, and managing documentation.
