We are hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift at a manufacturing facility in the Kansas City, Missouri metro. This role keeps pneumatic, hydraulic, manual, and CNC-controlled machinery running and supports ongoing building and grounds maintenance. The Industrial Maintenance Technician works across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fabrication, and carpentry tasks in a fast-changing plant environment.

Key Responsibilities - Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Diagnose and repair production machines, including pneumatic, hydraulic, manual, and CNC-controlled equipment
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on plant machinery and support systems to reduce unplanned downtime
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical faults using blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Complete building and grounds maintenance tasks, including carpentry, fabrication, and general facility repairs
- Prioritize competing repair requests under production pressure and follow each task through to completion
Qualifications - Industrial Maintenance Technician
- 5 years of related industrial maintenance or mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production setting
- Working skills across electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, machinist, fabrication, and carpentry trades
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Own basic hand tools and toolbox, plus reliable transportation to the job site
- Strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to multitask under pressure
Preferred Qualifications - Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting CNC machine tools and machine controls
- Technical school certificate or completed apprenticeship in industrial maintenance or a related trade
- Welding, machining, or metal fabrication experience
- Familiarity with a CMMS or work order tracking system
- Forklift, aerial lift, or lockout/tagout certification
Physical Requirements - Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Frequent heavy lifting, typically up to 50 pounds, with occasional team lifts of heavier components
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing throughout the full shift
- Work in an active plant environment with noise, dust, temperature variation, and moving equipment
- On-site 3rd shift schedule with a high level of flexibility as job priorities change
- Occasional outdoor work for grounds and exterior building maintenance
