Openwork is hiring an experienced Machine Operator for a well-established manufacturing company in Northeast Houston. If you have experience operating industrial equipment and enjoy working in a production environment where safety, quality, and teamwork are valued, this is a great opportunity to advance your career.


Training Schedule:

  • Paid training will take place on Day Shift (MondayFriday) during your first week.

  • After successfully completing training, you'll transition to the 3rd Shift schedule beginning your second week.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor industrial production equipment.

  • Set up machinery according to production requirements.

  • Operate a 15-foot press and assist with a 500-ton production machine.

  • Read work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.

  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Perform basic machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting.

  • Maintain accurate production records.

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

  • Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience required.

  • 2+ years of machine operating experience required.

  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

  • Basic math and measurement skills.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Reliable attendance and dependable work habits.

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, and move materials throughout the shift.

  • Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
