Site Safety amp; Health Officer โ€“ Intern (Summer 2026)
Charter Contracting Company, LLC is hiring qualified personnel in New England! Charter is a growing Boston-based non-union Civil/Environmental Remediation Contractor with job sites throughout New England. Types of projects include environmental remediation, heavy civil construction, abatement and demolition, excavation, dredging, utility work, and landfill operation, capping and closure.
Charter has an opening for a Site Safety amp; Health Officer - Intern position in the New England area for the Summer of 2026. Requirements include:
โ€ข 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year undergraduate BS student in Construction Safety Sciences, or Safety and Occupational Health Applied Science at an accredited college or university
โ€ข First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
โ€ข OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety amp; Health training
โ€ข Ability to obtain Hazmat/Respirator Medical Clearance
โ€ข Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
โ€ข Must possess verbal and written communication skills
โ€ข Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel amp; Word) software
โ€ข Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable personal transportation required
