Job description

White Elephant Resorts, a collection of award-winning boutique hotels and luxury resorts located on Nantucket, Massachusetts, Palm Beach, Florida, and Aspen, Colorado is looking for a full-time, year-round Group Rooms Coordinator to arrange group room reservations and related functions with in-house departments, affiliates, and outside group contacts.

*Based out of our Boston office

The Ideal candidate would be self-motivated, sales-minded, customer-focused and detail and goal oriented with the willingness to learn new processes, and the ability to merge into a dynamic work environment.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Must be proficient in all areas of reservations and general operations of the hotel
  • Maintain ownership of group blocks, including pickup numbers, reservation methods, billing, and proper treatment of VIP guests
  • Responsible for staffing, training, travel agent commission and 3rd party processing
  • The role will be approximately 50/50 between Group Coordinator and Reservations Sales.

Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor. Experience with computers and Microsoft Office essential.
