Job description

Position Summary:
The Donut Fryer is responsible for preparing, frying, glazing, and finishing donuts to the bakery’s quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare donut dough according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Operate and maintain donut fryer safely and effectively.
  • Monitor frying times and oil temperature to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Glaze, sugar, or finish donuts as required.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following food safety and health standards.
  • Assist with production of other bakery items as needed.
  • Track product counts and minimize waste.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders.
Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous bakery or food production experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product consistency.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work  flexible hours.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
