Job description

Marcella’s Doughnuts & Bakery is hiring a Doughnut Fryer to join our production team. This position is responsible for frying doughnuts properly, maintaining product quality, and helping keep production running smoothly each morning.

We are looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn. Bakery or kitchen experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.

Pay: $16–$18 per hour starting, based on experience
Schedule: 4–5 days per week
Shift Start Time: 6:00 AM
Job Types: Full-time and part-time available

Responsibilities:

  • Fry doughnuts according to Marcella’s standards
  • Monitor fryer temperature, timing, and product quality
  • Glaze and/or prepare doughnuts after frying as needed
  • Keep the fryer area clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Work with the production team to stay on schedule
  • Help with setup, cleanup, and other bakery tasks as needed
  • Communicate clearly with managers and team members

Requirements:

  • Must be reliable and on time
  • Able to work early mornings
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 50 lbs when needed
