Description


We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Donut Baker to join our early morning production team. This role is responsible for preparing, frying, and finishing a variety of donuts while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. Weekends are required.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Mix, scale, and prepare brioche dough for donut production  
  • Cut and shape dough into various donut styles  
  • Proof and fry all types of donuts to proper specifications  
  • Glaze, fill, and finish donuts with consistency and attention to detail  
  • Perform daily fryer maintenance, including filtering and cleaning  
  • Maintain proper oil levels and monitor fryer performance  
  • Follow opening procedures and complete daily prep lists  
  • Prepare ingredients and items for production (e.g., egg wash, fruit cutting, fillings)  
  • Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards  
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment  
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines  

Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Previous baking or kitchen experience preferred (but not required)  
  • Ability to work overnight/early morning shifts starting at 2:00 AM  or 4:00 AM
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency  
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment  
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices  
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs  

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience working with brioche or enriched doughs  
  • Familiarity with commercial fryers and bakery equipment  
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong work ethic 

Physical Requirements

This Baker position is a physically demanding position. The employee will be on their feet for most of the shift and are expected to left heavy objects.Â
