Job Title: Yard Goat Driver (2nd Shift)

Location: Carson, CA


We are currently seeking an experienced Yard Goat Driver to join our warehouse team in Carson. This position is responsible for safely moving trailers throughout the yard, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring timely trailer placement for loading and unloading.


Shift Schedule:

  • 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM
  • 3rd Shift
  • Monday – Friday
  • Overtime may be available based on business needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a yard goat (terminal tractor) to move trailers within the warehouse yard.
  • Position trailers at loading docks as directed.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and organized yard.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and dispatch.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Valid California Driver's License (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a yard goat/terminal tractor.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
