Job description

Are you a passionate early childhood educator who thrives in a nurturing and play-based environment? We're looking for an experienced 3K teacher to join our warm, collaborative team at our preschool/daycare center in New York City!
What You'll Do:

  • Lead a 3K classroom using developmentally appropriate practices aligned with DOE and Creative Curriculum standards
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity and independence
  • Collaborate with assistant teachers, families, and support staff to support each child’s growth
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with families about student progress
  • Observe, assess, and document children’s learning through authentic methods
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a preschool or daycare setting with 3-year-olds
  • Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
  • Familiarity with DOE 3K standards and curriculum
  • A nurturing, team-oriented approach and strong communication skills
Preferred:
