Job description

As an Assistant Director, you will:
  • Create strong relationships resulting in a high retention rate and referrals from staff, parents, and the community.
  • Assist in achieving center occupancy goals by providing center tours and following the Lightbridge enrollment process.
  • Provide a WOW customer experience to all in our Circle of Care.
  • Build community relationships and enrollment through participation in local area marketing and execution of open houses and other marketing.
  • Support a nurturing and positive learning environment encouraging children and staff to grow and develop.
  • Foster a “learning is fun" environment by implementing the Lightbridge Academy program and Seedlings curriculum.
  • Uphold discretion in dealing with all confidential matters and information.
  • Maintain proper ratios and substitute in classrooms if necessary.
  • Support all team members by example and provide mentoring and coaching. 
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children and staff members.
  • Observe all Lightbridge Academy policies, procedures, and state licensing regulations.
  • Support regularly scheduled staff meetings and trainings.
  • Complete a minimum of 20 hours of ongoing professional development annually.
