Position Overview

Designblendz is seeking a Real-Time Visualization Artist to join our growing visualization team. This role focuses on creating high-quality, interactive 3D environments using Unreal Engine, supporting both client-facing experiences and internal product development initiatives.

This position bridges traditional architectural visualization with real-time technology, requiring a strong eye for design, attention to detail, and an understanding of performance-driven workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality real-time environments in Unreal Engine for architectural projects
  • Translate 3D models (Revit, 3ds Max, etc.) into optimized real-time scenes
  • Apply lighting, materials, and post-processing to achieve photorealistic results
  • Optimize scenes for performance across desktop, mobile, and web-based platforms
  • Collaborate with visualization, architecture, and innovation teams
  • Support development of interactive experiences, including walkthroughs and client presentations
  • Maintain consistency with Designblendz visual standards and workflows
  • Stay current with emerging real-time rendering tools and techniques

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of experience in architectural visualization or real-time 3D production
  • Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine (Blueprints, lighting, materials, scene setup)
  • Experience with 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar rendering tools
  • Understanding of real-time optimization techniques (LOD, textures, lighting, draw calls)
  • Strong composition, lighting, and material sensibility
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with interactive elements and basic Blueprint scripting
  • Familiarity with Twinmotion, Enscape, or other real-time tools
  • Experience with VR/AR or pixel streaming workflows
  • Understanding of architectural drawings and design intent
  • Experience working in an architecture or AEC environment

What Success Looks Like

  • Real-time environments that match or exceed the quality of traditional renderings
  • Efficient conversion of models into optimized Unreal scenes
  • Consistent delivery of high-quality, client-ready interactive experiences
  • Contribution to evolving Designblendz real-time workflows and standards
