30hop Restaurant & Bar in Ankeny is hiring Cooks to join our back-of-house team.

We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and take pride in preparing high-quality food.

30hop is a full-service restaurant known for its chef-driven menu, extensive beer selection, and energetic atmosphere. With multiple locations throughout the Midwest and continued growth ahead, we're committed to creating opportunities for our team members to build lasting careers in hospitality.

Compensation for fully trained Cooks starts at $15-$22 per hour based on experience

Schedule

  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • 4-8 hour shifts
  • Evening and weekend availability preferred

What You'll Do

  • Prepare ingredients, sauces, and menu components according to company recipes and standards
  • Set up and maintain organized workstations before, during, and after service
  • Cook and plate menu items while ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, labeling, and storage procedures at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment throughout each shift
  • Assist with inventory organization, stock rotation, and kitchen cleaning duties
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership and fellow team members to support efficient service
  • Perform additional prep and line duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must 18 years of age or older
  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Able to stand and move throughout the shift
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
