JOB SNAPSHOT
Job Title: Special Response Officer
Location: Syracuse, NY
Pay Rate: $24.00 an hour
Shift & Hours: ON CALL Thursday - Monday, must be available for all shifts on those days (mornings, afternoons, overnights) as you are filling in if a guard calls out of a shift. However, if we do not call you in to work you will still be paid for a full 40 hours!

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities specific to this role include, but are not limited to:
  • The ability to drive a company vehicle (Clean MVR and valid DL)
  • Security Experience in varied settings
  • Have open availability to pick up a variety of shifts due to call-offs or openings on Thursday - Monday
General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients
  • Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
  • Respond quickly to critical situations
  • Ability to read and write detailed reports
  • Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications specific to this job include, but are not limited to:
  • At least 21 years of age or older
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • VALID AND NON-EXPIRED NEW YORK STATE SECURITY LICENSE
  • You cannot have worked for the company Amazon in ANY capacity
General Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include:
  • Possessing at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
  • Passing an extensive screening process including a background check and drug screening in accordance with NYS laws
