Job description

Machine Operator 

 

Shift Schedule: 2-2-3

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM


Position Overview

The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating, monitoring, and adjusting production equipment to ensure consistent product quality and optimal machine performance. This role is critical to maintaining efficiency, safety, and reliability within our manufacturing process at Drylock Technologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned machinery in accordance with established safety standards and production procedures.
  • Monitor machine performance, identify abnormalities, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime and escalate technical issues as needed.
  • Complete required documentation, including production logs, quality checks, and shift handoff reports.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and support preventive maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area that aligns with Drylock’s safety and 5S expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with Adjusters, Machine Responsibles, Shift Leads, and Quality teams to ensure product quality and efficient operations.
  • Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and process instructions.



Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in a fast‑paced production environment OR combination of manufacturing experience and related education.
  • Machine operator experience required
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn equipment operation, interpret machine indicators, and perform basic troubleshooting.




  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift materials up to 50 lbs, and work in a high‑speed manufacturing setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and reliability.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in hygiene, paper, or high‑volume consumer goods manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with SAP, MES, or similar production reporting systems.
