2027 2L Summer Associate Program

Keches Law Group will be hiring students who are seeking a highly personalized summer experience for our Summer Associate program. Students will be immersed in their assigned practice area for the duration of the program.


Associates may be placed in our Bridgewater, MA or Milton, MA offices.


Summer Associates will work on a variety of matter where they can gain real, hands-on experience working side by side with our lawyers. After spending twelve weeks in our offices, we can assure that you will leave Keches knowing our lawyers, understand what we do, and will be ready to hit the ground running after law school.


Training

We will provide our summer associates with seminars, practice area overviews, and general professional development. We recognize that training is a critical component in every attorney’s professional development. Our goal is to provide our attorneys and summer associates with the substantive knowledge, skills, and resources they need to achieve legal excellence.


Mentoring

Summer associates will be paired with an attorney mentor or in some offices a mentor team who help with the transition into the office and serves as a valuable resource to the summer associate providing useful advice when work challenges and questions arise. Matches are generally based on practice group interest.


Social Events

At Keches we plan a variety of events throughout the year to facilitate staff interaction on an informal basis.

Duration of the internship:

Approximately 12 weeks (May through August)

Students who will have completed their 2L year as of May 2027

This is a paid internship


Student Requirements:

· Most recent academic transcripts

· Current resume

· Two letters of recommendations (this can be provided from a teacher/professor, coach, mentor, etc. familiar with you)

· Writing sample


Application Period:

August – September 2026, applications will be considered after the initial deadline if openings remain available.


The anticipated hourly rate for this position, which we in good faith expect to pay at the time of posting, is $33.34 per hour. This range allows us to make an offer that reflects multiple factors, including experience, education, qualifications, and job-related knowledge and skills, as well as internal pay equity. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as we strive to provide room for future and continued salary growth. Base pay is just one component of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonuses, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
