Our clients are seeking dedicated paraprofessionals to work closely with teachers and clinical staff to provide classroom support, assist with behavior management, and help students achieve their educational and IEP goals in a structured and supportive learning environment.
CLIENT'S LOCATION
Schools are located in Chicago (Humboldt Park).
DESCRIPTION OF CLIENT'S DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES < /b>
* Provide classroom support under the direction of the lead teacher
* Assist students with academic tasks, assignments, and instructional activities
* Support students with behavioral management and social development
* Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
* Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment
* Assist with daily routines, transitions, and supervision (e.g., lunch, recess)
* Document student progress and communicate effectively with staff
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE< /b>
* Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with school staff
* Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
* Experience supporting students with special needs is a plus
* Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent (associates or higher preferred)
