Culinary Specialist II (SY26-27) (Temporary)
Department: Food Services
Close Date: Open Until Filled
Salary: $21.27/hr.+ depending on education and experience. (Position is temporary)
Description:
Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious, and palatable cafeteria meals in a pleasant atmosphere. Focuses on efficiency and cleanliness, meeting standards for the Child Nutrition Programs (CNP), complying with sanitation standards, along with SFIS policies. Must have a food handler certification that meets the sanitation standards, or the ability to obtain this certification within 30 days of employment. SFIS requires all certification exams to be proctored on-site.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience in food service plus three (3) years of supervisor experience in the food service industry with a current food handlers certificate.
Possess a first aid/CPR certificate and blood borne/airborne pathogens certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Native American students and Native American or Tribal entities.
