Job description

23rd Group is a facilities management organization that offers general maintenance, project management and construction related services to multi-location commercial Clients. 23rd Group’s commitment to improving the process for routine facility maintenance challenges, reducing costs, and always delivering superior customer service has resulted in a rapidly increasing customer base.

23rd Group is seeking a Team Lead, a critical position responsible for mentoring and supervising team members who are processing facility maintenance work orders for commercial locations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Coach team members to ensure we are providing the level of service that our Customers expect and deserve.
  • Document employee performance in real time to identify training opportunities and prepare Employee reviews as scheduled.
  • Be the “first line of defense” for any questions/concerns of your team members.
  • Proactively guide team members to avoid escalations and personally manage escalations with team members when they are not avoidable.
  • Manage negotiations with Technicians to remedy excessive costs.
  • Ensure team members maintain fair and acceptable gross profit margins.
  • Facilitate Customer growth and identify potential improvement opportunities.
  • Manage employee resources (attendance, PTO, overtime, etc) to cover the Team’s required tasks.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of facility maintenance
  • High-energy, positive attitude
  • Exceptional customer service focus and skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, diverse, and growth-orientated environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
