Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a MATERIAL HANDLER that can start working right away.  We will train a person to assist with the transporting and handling of parts between operations and departments.

Job Requirements:

  • Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
  • Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
  • Stock workstations with parts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Load and unload parts into tumblers, carts, or etching baskets.
  • Maintain accurate part and/or work piece counts.
  • Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per the job-specific travelers.
  • On-the-job training will be provided for this position.
  • Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.

Skill Requirements:

  • Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
  • In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person (U.S. Person = a natural person who is a lawful permanent resident as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
  • English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
  • Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
