Job description

1st Shift – Machine Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Machine Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing basic maintenance and minor repairs on hose manufacturing equipment, assisting with machine adjustments, and helping ensure production runs efficiently and safely.

Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr

Responsibilities:

Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on hose manufacturing machines

Assist machine operators with equipment adjustments and troubleshooting

Change and adjust meters, spoon rollers, and related machine components

Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and make necessary adjustments

Record completed maintenance work accurately

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Work closely with supervisors and production teams to minimize equipment downtime

Requirements:

Basic mechanical knowledge preferred

Previous maintenance or manufacturing experience preferred

Must have own basic toolbox

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
