The position is responsible for monitoring loans for proper loan documentation, identification of loan policy exceptions, and concentrations, report on credit risks within the Bank, and evaluate and analyze credit administration processes. The opportunity has a generous salary of up to $175K and a benefits package.  (This is not a remote position).Credit Administration Officer responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Credit Administration Department.
  • Works in conjunction with Senior Management to establish and maintain credit administration policies, underwriting guidelines, and credit procedures.
  • Be aware of current credit guidance in relation to economic and industry trends to maximize opportunities and minimize risk.
  • Analyze and implement credit administration process improvements that improve the efficiency and quality of the department.
  • Provide constructive input and ideas to improve the Bank's credit quality and performance.
  • Ensure credits have been assigned the proper risk rating by the loan officer, loan committee, or internal credit analysts.
  • Responsible for all Credit Administration Department Reports.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the Loan Policy.
  • Reviews analysts' work to ensure quality and consistency across the department.
  • Collaborate with the lending team to address and resolve any discrepancies in loan documentation.
  • Prepare reports on credit administration processes, loan performance, and potential management risks, as well as other relevant information.
  • Ensure that all credit administration activities, policies, and procedures comply with internal guidelines, regulatory requirements, and applicable legal frameworks.
  • Complete performance reviews for all Credit Department staff as required.

  • Working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office Suite, as well as basic PC desktop operating systems, with previous exposure to Teslar, FIS Horizon XE, and LaserPro, is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Good follow through on projects and deliverables. Able to handle/focus on multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules. Able to work flexible hours.
  • Able to perform under time deadlines. May be subject to increased pressure situations on occasion.
  • Good understanding of banking guidelines related to loan documentation, credit analysis, and credit administration. Able to comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Able to make appropriate judgments based on Bank policy and procedures.
