Site Superintendent - Industrial Construction (MEP) - Base Salary to 175k/year - Dallas, TX

  • Our client is a nationally recognized engineering and construction firm specializing in technically complex industrial, manufacturing, laboratory, automotive, aerospace, and research facility projects throughout North America. They offer outstanding career growth, challenging projects, and long-term career stability.
  • They are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale industrial and commercial construction projects. This individual will independently oversee subcontractors, coordinate multiple trades, manage project schedules, enforce OSHA safety standards, maintain quality control, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Extensive travel to project sites throughout the United States is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all day-to-day construction activities on assigned industrial and commercial construction projects
  • Lead field operations and supervise subcontractors across multiple trades, including MEP activities
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and general construction work
  • Monitor project schedules, sequencing, and milestone completion
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documents
  • Coordinate daily activities with project managers, engineers, owners, inspectors, and subcontractors
  • Conduct jobsite meetings and maintain daily reports and project documentation
  • Monitor quality control (QA/QC) and ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Promote and enforce OSHA safety standards and safe work practices
  • Identify and resolve field issues impacting schedule, productivity, quality, or subcontractor performance
  • Coordinate inspections, punch lists, commissioning activities, and project closeout
  • Track manpower, equipment, materials, production, and field productivity
  • Travel to project locations throughout the United States for extended project assignments

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent, Field Superintendent, Construction Superintendent, or similar field leadership role
  • Experience managing industrial, commercial, manufacturing, laboratory, automotive, aerospace, research facility, or other technically complex construction projects
  • Experience independently managing field operations on large construction projects
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple construction trades, including MEP activities
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling, project sequencing, and field coordination
  • Experience with quality control (QA/QC), punch lists, inspections, and project closeout
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety requirements
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States for project assignments
