Job description

Primary Objective: This position enables students to obtain job skills and enhance their work readiness. Under direct supervision, provides temporary special support in the areas of administration, clerical support or maintenance during the summer months, school breaks and other short term periods.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sorts and distributes mail, answers telephone calls and greets visitors.
2. Prepares file folders, sorts and collates documents for filing, and files documents in proper sequence.
3. Conducts research, compiles documentation, and prepares results according to specifications.
4. Prepares spreadsheets and reports using documents provided by supervisor.
5. Provides academic assistance to assigned tutees, either in a group or individually.
6. Assists with completing projects related to the maintenance of building and grounds operations.
7. Performs related duties as assigned.
8. Adheres to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards.

1. Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program. Completion of a high school diploma required. Completion of tutoring certification preferred.
2. Ability to operate computers and use software applications.

5. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
6. Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks.
7. Ability to work in a diverse environment.
