Manager, Account Management - University Partnerships

We are growing quickly here at 12twenty, and it's our priority to hire A+ players to join us on our mission of rapid expansion and industry leadership.

12twenty is seeking a Manager to manage and develop a team of Account Managers. This role is focused on team leadership, forecasting, and driving performance across retention and expansion.

If you are a self-motivated leader with a strong sales and customer success mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building both people and partnerships, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a remote U.S. opportunity with a travel requirement of up to 20%.

As a Manager, you will:Team Leadership & Coaching
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small pod of Account Managers
  • Provide ongoing deal coaching, pipeline inspection, and performance feedback
  • Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Support reps in managing strategic and enterprise-level accounts
  • Act as an escalation point for complex customer situations

Forecasting & Performance Ownership

  • Own forecast accuracy and pipeline health for your pod
  • Ensure consistent execution of deal strategy, pipeline management, and closing discipline
  • Identify risks and proactively drive actions to hit team targets
Cross-Functional & Operational Impact
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and CS leadership to improve customer journey and revenue outcomes
  • Identify and implement process improvements and scalable playbooks
  • Ensure alignment across teams to support consistent customer experience
Qualifications
  • 5โ€“8 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success
  • Proven track record of retention, expansion, and team leadership
  • You've successfully led a team of 4โ€“5 remote Account Managers, supporting them in owning and exceeding renewal and expansion targets
  • You are a true coach at heartโ€”whether as a player-coach or in a fully dedicated leadership roleโ€”with a passion for developing talent and driving consistent performance
  • Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and performance coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Bachelors degree
Preferred
  • You bring experience in the technology space, ideally within a high-growth SaaS environment
  • Salesforce and standard productivity tools (Google Suite, MS Office)
  • Experience in a high-growth or scaling organization

Compensation: $120Kโ€“$140K OTE

The annual compensation range for this position is listed above. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on company compensation practices, job related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, in addition to geographic location.

In addition to the range below, US employees are eligible for equity. Employees in this position are also eligible to participate in the Company's standard benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), and paid time off.
