Job description

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for the safe and accurate delivery of ionizing radiation treatments to patients, following prescribed protocols and physician instructions. This role includes electronic documentation of all treatment applications in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Pay Rate: $49.00 – $63.55 per hour.
  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000.
  • Relocation Assistance: $5,000.
  • Tuition Assistance / Education Loan Repayment: $10,000 – $20,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments using a linear accelerator in accordance with physician-prescribed plans.
  • Accurately document all treatment sessions electronically.
  • Operate CT and linear accelerator equipment following established safety protocols.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and positioning throughout each treatment.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal radiation safety regulations.

Education Requirements:
  • Post-High School Vocational or Specialized Training in Radiation Therapy.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply!

Required Licenses & Certifications:
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Radiation Therapy.
  • Texas Medical Board – Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
  • CPR / BLS Certification.
