Immediate Opening: Seasonal Warehouse Associate – Vandalia, Ohio

Schedule: 1st Shift – Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
Type: Seasonal Position
Start Date: ASAP (must pass drug and background screening)
Responsibilities
  • Operate warehouse systems and processes efficiently.
  • Prepare and complete orders for receipt, delivery, or pickup according to schedule.
  • Maintain quality and accuracy by following company standards and procedures.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to meet productivity goals.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Provide thorough hand-offs to the following shift.
  • Meet departmental SLA goals and report variances as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Receiving Department
  • Unload inbound trailers using fluid unload equipment.
  • Apply labels to inbound cases and scan using an RF gun.
  • Manually process non-conveyable cases and pallets.
  • Remove and stage empty pallets and waste materials appropriately.
  • Follow all safety and lifting procedures.
Picking Department
  • Manage pick ticket orders and pull inventory by number, size, color, and quantity.
  • Operate scanners to ensure accurate order picking and inventory tracking.
  • Stage orders correctly for delivery and maintain order accuracy.
  • Learn and use Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions for Active Pick/Pack.
Shipping Department
  • Shrink wrap and palletize products for shipment.
  • Load delivery vehicles as directed.
  • Pack and ship orders according to established processes.
Reserve / Replenishment Department
  • Store products in correct reserve locations per WMS assignment.
  • Move and replenish stock to active picking areas.
  • Consolidate product as necessary and dispose of cardboard waste properly.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and standard operating procedures.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand/walk for 10 hours per shift.
  • Willingness to be cross trained in multiple departments.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Flexibility for overtime as needed.
