Security Clearance: Current Security Clearance (Secret at a minimum)
Job Type: Full Time W2 offering competitive salary and benefits (no 1099 or C2C)
Location: Full On-Site
Relocation: Relo support will be considered for qualified candidates outside the commuting area
JTEC Consulting, LLC is hiring a senior level System Administrator with cybersecurity expertise to work in support of a federal program. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated expertise using the Trellix Security Platform (TSP) and working with Trellix-based Host Based Security Systems (HBSS). This position requires proficiency with federal technology IT security standards, compliance, and risk management methodologies at the enterprise-level for a complex technology infrastructure. Prior experience supporting for a DoD Combatant Command is highly preferred.
Role and Responsibilities include:
  • Work as part of a collaborative team supporting cybersecurity initiatives
  • Support comprehensive security assessment for systems, applications, and infrastructure
  • Lead assessments, analyze findings, and provide recommendations to alignment of IT with business objectives
  • Work closely with TSP HBSS technologies including:
    • Performance optimization (analyze TSP usage)
    • Risk mitigation of risks
    • Support implementation and utilization
    • Conduct in-depth assessments of TSP implementations
    • Support maintenance of physical infrastructure
    • Ongoing support for TSP process improvements, automation, and integration across infrastructure
    • Promote adherence to industry and organizational best practices
    • Assess and maintain ongoing TSP compliance to manage risks
  • Other duties, as assigned

Experience and Requirements include:
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Current security clearance (minimum secret and eligible to obtain TS/SCI)
  • Availability to support a fully on-site schedule
  • Current advanced certification at the IAT level III level such as: CISA, CISSP, CySA+, or CompTIA PenTest+
  • 9+ years of related experience supporting cybersecurity, security audits, and IT system assessments; equivalent years of related experience may be substituted for a degree; relevant advanced degree may be substituted for experience
  • Demonstrated expertise working with the Trellix Security Platform suite (TSP)-based HBSS technologies
  • Demonstrated understanding of enterprise architecture principles and assessment methodologies for infrastructure data and security
  • Experience working with Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS)
  • Experience with NIST and ISO 27001 standards and compliance and risk management processes
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills to support a blended government contractor environment
  • Availability to work on-site

Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience supporting SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM or related component is highly desired.
