What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the 1 Edi Source position, and why are they important?

To thrive as an EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Specialist, you need a solid understanding of data integration, business processes, and EDI standards, typically supported by a background in IT, business, or supply chain management. Familiarity with EDI mapping tools, communication protocols (such as AS2, FTP, or VANs), and experience with relevant ERP systems is commonly required, and certifications like EDI Professional may be beneficial.
