Job Summary (Storeroom Attendant – 2nd Shift):
- Receives, stores, issues, and audits inventory including tools, materials, and equipment at a customer’s industrial facility.
- Maintains a professional, clean, and organized work environment.
- Performs daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory.
- Drives a battery-operated cart between buildings for deliveries, material pick-up, and dock runs.
- Must be able to walk up to 4.5 miles daily and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Uses ladder (up to 8 feet) to stock parts; safety features provided.
- Required to have a valid driver's license for position duties.
- Utilizes a computer for inventory and receiving tasks.
- Provides good customer service and works effectively as part of a team.
- Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Follows all safety protocols, including wearing steel toe shoes with internal metatarsals.
- Previous warehouse and/or forklift experience is a plus; on-the-job forklift certification available if needed.
- Temp-to-hire position covering an associate on leave; training provided on first shift for 3-4 weeks before moving to second shift.
- Work environment includes potential for warm temperatures in summer (no AC); warehouse is heated in winter.
