We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Residential Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling residential real estate transactions from contract to closing and will be comfortable working directly with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential real estate transactions from contract through closing.
- Prepare and review closing packages, settlement statements, deeds, affidavits, title documents, and other closing-related paperwork.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys to ensure smooth and timely closings.
- Order and review title commitments, payoffs, surveys, and homeowner association documents.
- Schedule closings and maintain communication with all parties throughout the transaction process.
- Ensure all files are complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Utilize Qualia software to manage transaction workflows, deadlines, and documentation.
- Assist with post-closing tasks, including recording documents and disbursing funds.
- Maintain organized and accurate transaction files.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of residential real estate paralegal or closing coordinator experience preferred.
- Experience handling residential real estate closings from start to finish.
- Familiarity with title, escrow, and closing procedures.
- Experience using Qualia software preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
