Job description

Become an Employee-Owner at PERRY proTECH! A Technical Specialist is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction by assisting the sales team in developing and presenting required IT solutions.
About the Role:
  • Conduct in-depth technical discussions with clients, focusing on business goals and outcomes
  • Investigate client networks and complete network assessments which will support solution proposals and develop strategic direction
  • Collaborate with technical resources to design and build proper hardware and infrastructure solutions
  • Support sales during quoting and proposal/closing process as the primary technical resource
  • Understand clients’ needs especially with compliance and regulations
  • Partner with sales to identify, qualify and develop new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
  • Support account growth by identifying gaps, risks, or improvement opportunities in client environments
  • Prepare and present KPI and SLA performance reviews with clients and internal staff, creating action plans where appropriate
  • Support sales through Quarterly Business Review process by serving as the resource for all technical-related topics
Requirements amp; Qualifications:
  • Interpersonal and client relation skills
  • Ability to think strategically and critically
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to problem solve
  • Prioritize customer service and client satisfaction
  • 5+ years in Information Technology field
  • Associate degree or equivalent with a demonstrated successful work history
  • Experience with Microsoft ecosystem including Servers, Entra ID, Exchange, Teams and Azure
  • Understanding of a SaaS model and hosting solutions
  • Understanding of basic network technologies including wireless technologies
  • Network infrastructure (router/switch/firewalls) knowledge
  • Microsoft server/AD experience and certifications is a plus
  • Experience supporting pre-sales or client-facing solution discussions
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience supporting opportunities through the sales cycle by addressing technical objections.
