What You'll Do:
  • Provide specialized nursing care to patients within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
  • Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1 nurse to 5 patients
  • Utilize advanced skills in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
  • Document patient care accurately in Epic system
  • Float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort through vigilant monitoring and intervention
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and transplant success
What You Need:
  • Active Ohio RN license and ACLS/BCLS certifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in PCU or equivalent setting
  • Strong telemetry monitoring skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Previous travel nursing experience (preferred but not required)

The unit focuses on post-transplant patient care, requiring attention to detail, strong clinical skills, and adaptability. You will enjoy a supportive team environment, flexible floating within units, and a focus on patient-centered care.
