Job Description
The work involves supporting precast wall installation, building patching, caulking, and brace removal, typically over 1–2 month durations for individual buildings and extending to entire data center campuses consisting of 10–15 buildings. The role uses standard construction tools and equipment along with computers for electronic documentation, email, and basic office software. Travel may be required, with mileage reimbursement after 50 miles from home at the federal rate, a corporate card for business expenses, and a daily allowance for hotel and meals, with flexibility for booking accommodations directly.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a full-time onsite presence at the assigned project and coordinate day-to-day construction activities with the General Contractor and other project stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary onsite point of contact between the General Contractor, field crews, the Field Superintendent, and other project resources.
- Coordinate site access, work areas, installation sequencing, schedules, equipment, and logistical needs to support uninterrupted field operations.
- Receive, verify, document, and route incoming materials, components, equipment, deliveries, project information, and other items arriving at the jobsite.
- Provide timely project updates to the Field Superintendent and promptly escalate safety concerns, schedule risks, delivery issues, site conflicts, quality concerns, or issues requiring management direction.
- Monitor onsite progress against the project schedule, identify potential delays or coordination gaps, and work with appropriate parties to support resolution.
- Support compliance with safety expectations and applicable jobsite, OSHA, and General Contractor requirements, and immediately communicate unsafe conditions.
- Coordinate inspections, quality-related activities, punch-list items, and issue resolution between field crews, the General Contractor, and project leadership.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, delivery records, site documentation, open-item logs, and other project records required by the firm or the General Contractor.
- Pre-plan and coordinate work, equipment, deliveries, and site access to meet project deadlines.
- Make effective day-to-day coordination decisions in a changing jobsite environment and recognize when issues need to be escalated.
- Support field crews performing precast wall installation, building patching, caulking, brace removal, and related structural work for data center campuses and similar projects.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial or industrial construction.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, General Foreperson, Field Coordinator, or in a similar onsite construction role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Construction supervision experience with the ability to oversee field operations and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
- Experience with subcontractor management and coordination of multiple project stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and site logistics plans.
- Ability to coordinate field crews, General Contractors, subcontractors, deliveries, and other stakeholders effectively.
- Concrete, precast concrete, or structural erection experience is highly beneficial.
- OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
