Job Description Summary:


Answers all incoming calls, relays emergency messages by announcing various alerts and warnings over the paging system, contacts personnel as necessary and directs them where they are needed, and reports any telephone problems.

Essential Functions:

  • Answers incoming calls and directs them to the appropriate department or person.
  • Places outgoing calls as requested by employees and management.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all calls made and received.
  • Greets visitors and directs them to the appropriate area or person.
  • Provides general information to callers and visitors as needed.
  • Assists in training and onboarding new staff.


Education Requirement:

High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellentcommunication,interpersonal, and customer serviceskills
